As an amateur photographer and visitor to Africa on two photographic safaris, albeit Kenya and Tanzania , I appreciate the time, effort, patience and persistence Simon placed into first capturing the photographs and then the publishing of this book. The fact that a portion of its sale goes to supporting the species is yet another compelling reason to choose to purchase this book and give family & friends books as gifts that all may appreciate the talent, care and species captured by the lens therein. Bravo Simon ...looking forward to your next book!

"Pretty happy to add this masterpiece from @itlphoto @CheetahWorld to my photobook collection. Loved the personalised note in the packaging, even if he did misspell my surname (we won't hold that against him though)." (from Twitter)

I don’t do selfies and I don’t do Instagram. Instead, here is a pic of my resident feline admiring your work. There may or may not have been catnip involved...
Good work and thank you.

Thank you for the book, it is a delight!
As someone who has spent time at Okonjima myself volunteering with PAWS a few years ago, your photos brought back many memories so I thought it only right that I should send you a photo with some AfriCat related pictures as a back drop (taken during my time there).

Happy World Book Day!
What a great day to celebrate the books that have inspired us both. And our choices are among our 'ever-growing stack' for all sorts of reasons.
For their practical advice (every day is always a school day). Or their insight into a particular species or way of life. Conservation of some of our most endangered animals and the causes which exist to raise their profiles in order to help them survive. To simply incredible artistry created from equally incredible images.
But whatever reason we each chose our own personal favourites, a couple of things are true of each. It's rare that Christmas or a birthday passes without another one for the collection. And they inspire us often - not just in the images that we aspire to capture but in driving the respect we practice, in every single camera day we enjoy.
